Regular shooting of much awaited Gunasekhar’s extravaganza ‘Rudramadevi’ starring Anushka in title role and Rana Daggubati in yet another pivotal role is going to start from April 18th onwards. This historical stereoscopic 3D movie which raised the expectations of moviegoers is going to be directed and produced by dynamic director Gunasekhar on his home banner Guna Team Works banner to international standards.
Speaking about the shooting details of the film director-cum-producer Gunasekhar said, “Both Anushka and Rana Daggubati are going to compete with each other in central characters Rudramadevi and Chalukya. Similarly Rebel star Krishnamraju will portray yet another prominent role King Ganapathideva while Prakash Raj will be seen as minister Sivadevayya, Ajay as Prasaditya, Ravibabu as Nagadeva, Nathalia Kaur as Annaambica, Hamsa Nandini as Madhanica and Prabha as Soumamba. Brahmanandam, M S Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji are playing other supporting roles. The entire starcast were inspired by the story of ‘Rudramadevi’ and are very happy to be part of this film. Padmasri Thota Tarani is going to design a a lavish set costing crores of rupees for ‘Rudramadevi’ at Gopanapalli where he constructed Charminaar set for the film ‘Okkadu’. The regular shooting will begin in this areena set from April 18th and will progress nonstop. We are planning to shoot the film on 11 grand sets that shows the heritage of Kakateeya dynasty.”
