We are aware of our Telugu filmmaker PC Aditya’s several records like filming 100 short films in 100 days, making ’11 Gantalu’ film in 11 hours at 11 locations with 11 cameras and completing the film shoot of ‘Sathamanam Bhavati’ on a single day with a single camera. In lines with this there is this Tamil director named Aravind Raj who directed the film titled ‘Kavidai’ (Poem), the love story with single character.
The story revolves around a cell phone which is used by a young girl to share her mental distraction and her love with her lover after being trapped on a sinking ship. The single character was portrayed by the director’s daughter Mahakeerti and it’s her first film. Cell phone played vital role in ‘Kavidai’ which the director shot in two hours within the area of 28 sq ft. and created a new record. There are also two songs in the film. Director Aravind Raj used 5D camera and a 2 ½ feet tubelight and couple of torches to shoot the entire film.
