Gopimohan started his career as an assistant director with the film 'Yama Jathakudu' and has done 4 Telugu films. To his credit, he has worked for 43 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Bengali industries as an Assistant director, Screenplay writer, Story writer, Story Discussions and Thanks Card Filmography.
He became the most wanted story director with 'Dhookudu' which has been released in 2011. This has brought him two crazy offers i.e., Venky's Shadow and NTR's Baadshah. Now, he was planning to make a debut directorial film with Sunil. Shooting schedule of this film will be started after the completion of Sunil's Vettai Telugu remake and Uday Shankar's film.
