Asin celebrates Onam (a 10th day harvest festival) in Mumbai despite the tight shooting schedule. Asin invited her close friends and celebrated the traditional festival with great passion. She wore the south Indian traditional pattu pavadai for the auspicious Onam festival.
Onam specials like paayasam, appam, and many more mouth-watering dishes were prepared. The flower carpet at the entrance of her house was the center of attraction. The delicious dishes were sent to Sajid Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. She spent her entire day with her family and friends by watching special Malayalam TV shows.
Asin is a veteran dancer of Thiruvathira Kali. Though she is now based in Mumbai, the festival would still be very special to her.
