Hollywood director Jaganmohan Mundra, an NRI took his last breath on Sunday. He was 62. Bollywood celebrities like Shabana Azmi, Kabeer Bedi, Pooja Bedi, Vikram Bhatt, Seema Biswas and few others have paid homage to the director.
Jaganmohan Mundra started his film journey in 1982 with the film ‘Suraag’. After completing his Engineering graduation in IIT Mumbai he went to USA to pursue his Master’s degree. However, he developed passion for films and stepped into the film industry after going there. He directed films like ‘Kamala’, ‘Night Ice’, ‘The Jigsaw Murders’, ‘Eye Witness to Murder’, ‘Open House’, Halloween Night’, ‘Provoked’, ‘Shoot at Sight, etc. This apart he also directed a Bollywood film titled ‘Naughty at 40’ with Govinda. Although he wanted to direct a film on Sonia Gandhi, his wish could not be fulfilled.
