We all are aware that Asin was subjected to the ire of Tamil cinema due to her role in a movie (Ready) which had shots taken from Srilanka. Due to the long standing dispute between Tamils and Srilankan government, the people of Tamil Nadu are against anything with Srilanka. So
Asin as of now is finding it difficult to get any chances in Tamil films which was the base root to her success in her career.
Now in similar lines, yet another top heroine who has captured the hearts of everyone in South India is undergoing the same treatment. It is Tamanna. She, as a female lead for Ram Charan’s movie had to go to Srilanka for certain scenes and songs. This has infuriated the Kollywood which says that Tamanna has done this despite knowing Kollywood sentiments. So they have come to a conclusion to ban all her films and as well as stop taking movies with her. This apart, her recent movie ‘Vengai’ with Dhanush appears to be in trouble with her posters and cutouts being torn and broken into pieces and the Tamil supporters vehemently objecting to the screening of the film. It’s very unfortunate that the upcoming actress is given one such treatment.
