‘King’ Nagarjuna’s Rajanna’ completed its censor formalities and is waiting for its release on December 22nd. The film is directed by Vijayendra Prasad and produced by Nagarjuna himself under Annapurna Studios banner.
Speaking about the film Nagarjuna said, “I’m very happy with the outcome of Rajanna. This movie is going to be a milestone in my film career. We are releasing the film worldwide on December 22nd. I’m very much impressed with my character Rajanna. This is the story of a freedom fighter. This is the realistic subject based on 3-4 incidents occurred during pre-independence period. Vijendra Prasad dealt with the subject of ‘Rajanna’ very well. Rajamouli who is giving continuous hits directed the action sequences superbly. The highlight is the climax part that was shot for 30 days. Keeravani’s music is the soul to this film. Similarly Baby Anie performed superbly. She has a very important role in the story of ‘Rajanna’. We created the pre-independence atmosphere by erecting many huge sets. Art director Ravinder designed these sets in a magnificent manner. Any artist would rarely get one such chance to do films like ‘Rajanna’. This is a prestigious film under Annapurna Studios banner. It’s definitely going to be a universal film that gives a patriotic feel. As an artist I’m completely satisfied to do a film like ‘Rajanna’.”
RR Film distributors are going to release ‘Rajanna’ on December 22nd throughout Andhra Pradesh. Apart from that ‘Rajanna’ will also get released in other states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, North India, etc. At overseas the film is going to be released grandly by Annapurna International banner.
