Rise of the Apes in theaters on August 5th ADVERTISEMENT Hollywood flick ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ which is the sequel of ‘Planet of the Apes’ series is hitting theaters worldwide on August 5th. The Telugu version is titled as ‘Rise of the Apes’ with the tagline ‘Nara Vanara Viplavam’. Fox Star Studios that distributed sensational film like ‘XMen: First Class’ is bringing this new sci-fi movie now. James Franco of ‘127 Hours’ fame and Frieda Pinto of ‘Sulmdog Millionaire’ are playing the lead pair in this film. The movie also has Andy Serkis (Chimpanzee) that acted in movies like ‘King Kong’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’. The film is directed by Rupert Wyatt. Interestingly the digital effects for this movie was done by Vita Digital which earlier did for ‘Avatar’, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘King Kong’. The Fox Star Studios banner has expressed its confidence on the film and says that this sci-fi movie with stupendous graphics would thrill the audience on par with ‘Avatar’.
