• Suresh Biography

  Suresh was born in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, India, on 26th August 1964. He was born as Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu Naidu.

  He is an Indian Film Director, Television Presenter, Dubbing Artist, Film Actor & Film Producer, works mainly in Tamil and Telugu cinemas.

  Personal Life:

  In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Suresh grew up and studied at English Oxford High School before completing his education at Shrine Vailankanni English School. He studied in commerce and completed an MBA during his acting career in the 1990s.

  Suresh married to Anita, but they separated later and took divorce. They have a son named Nikhil Suresh. His father, M. S. Gopinath was a producer and director of 34 films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

  Career:

  Suresh began his career as an assistant editor and dance assistant. One of his father's friends believed that he will become a great lead actor.

  Suresh was the lead of three of Sridhar’s movies a few years back. He met Santhana Bharathi and P.Vasu, the directors, who showed him as the lead in Panneer Pushpangal (1981).
  In Bharathiraja's Alaigal Oivathillai (1981), Suresh was concurrently offered the lead role. Both films have become big commercial hits.

  For several movies Suresh portrayed the part of a lover, produced four movies and 7 TV serials before taking a break in the 1990s. In 2006, Suresh returned to Tamil with Kizhakku Kadalkarai Salai. He performed supporting roles opposite Ajith Kumar in Aasal (2010).

  In 2012, Suresh starred in a bilingual Tamil-Telugu film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi directed by Balaji Mohan, played as Akilan Venkatesan's character as he was undergoing a mid-life crisis.

  Suresh hosted and judged the professional cooking game show Kitchen Superstar for Vijay TV for six seasons. Suresh directed and featured in Bhavani Telugu film. Four feature films he produced: Prarthana, Bhavani, Sivudu and Raghava.

  He produced seven popular series of TV dramas in Telugu and Tamil, all of which he oversaw and worked as a creative director.

  Suresh was the Tamil voice of the actor Ajith Kumar in Aasai (1995), and of Nagarjuna in Idhayathai Thirudathe (1989), Siva (1989), Ratchagan (1997) and Ooty (2012) and Manam (2016) as a dubbing / voice-over performer.

  Since 2018 he has played in the bilingual daily serial Lakshmi Stores opposite Khushbu Sundar.
