S. A. Rajkumar was born in Chennai on 23rd August 1964. He's an outstanding Indian film music Director.
He has made music in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada for all South Indian language movies. Jolly jingles are sconsidered to be his strength. He is most famous for making music for films such as Raja, Shruthi, and Pudhu Vasantham.
Personal Life:
He was born to Kannammal and Selvarajan. S. A. Selvarajan Rajkumar's father was a singer who was played by famous music directors such as Gangai Amaren, Ilayaraja, and Deva, etc. in stage shows.
Rajkumar was a music devotee of his father and reinforced a personal musical interest. His mother discovered his love regarding music and convinced her husband to teach music lessons for Rajkumar.
For three years, he was educated in classical music under the supervision of music guru Subbaiah Bhagavathar.
Career:
Rajkumar began organizing musical shows on his own after completing his music training and was looking for movie opportunities. In 1987, Duo director Robert-Rajashekar offered him his first significant breakthrough in signing him up for their Chinna Poove Mella Pesu film as the music composer.
Since then, in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada, Rajkumar has composed music for more than 100 films. His compositions for films such as Suryavamsam, Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen, Aval Varuvala, Vanathai Pola, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Vasantham, and Priyamaana Thozhi have been musical hits and have been considered memorable.
