'Mathu Vadalara', touted as a comedy thriller, has released worldwide today. Story
Babu Mohan (Sri Simha), a courier boy, gets fed up with the meager salary he is getting in Hyderabad and decides to go back to his hometown. But his friend (Satya) teaches him how to trick customers and earn money. Just when Babu Mohan tries to apply the trick on an old woman in a lavish apartment, he gets into a soup as the woman dies. How does he get out of the mess? How did the woman die in the first place?.
Performances
Debutante Sri Simha impresses with his performance. His comedy timing too is good. But the star of the film is comedian Satya. He leaves the audiences in splits with superb comedy timing and one liners. Vennela Kishore gets a role, that is quite different from what is expected from him. Vidyulleka Raman, Pavala Shyamala, Brahmaji and others perform well.
Technical aspects
Debutante Kaala Bhairava's background score is apt for the film. The camerawork is good. Dialogues are funny. The production values are very good for this small movie.

More than the thrill factor, it's comedy that is the highlight of 'Mathu Vadalara'. With good performances, especially Sathya's hilarious comedy makes the film a very good entertainer. Except for the fact that logic goes for a toss sometimes, the film is a good watch. It's a good debut for director Ritesh Rana, Sri Simha and Kaala Bhairava. Watch it.
