Performances

Tharun Bhascker pulled off his role very well. His comedy timing is good. Abhinav Gomatam is very good as the hero's best friend. The chemistry between Tharun and Abhinav worked out well. Anasuya Bharadwaj and Naveen George Thomas fit the bill. Vani Bhojan, Pavani Gangireddy have nothing much to do in the film but do a decent job.

Technical aspects

The songs take the proceedings forward. The background score is good. The cinematography is decent. The screenplay is filled with situational humour.

Analysis

'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' has situational comedy and most of the scenes between Tharun Bhascker and Abhinav Gomatam evoke laughs. The film has a good first half. Going by the first half, we expect an exciting second half with nail-biting scenes and climax. But it doesn't happen. As said before, the film has no forced comedy and that's a plus for the movie. On the whole, 'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' ends up as a decent entertainer with situational humour.
