As the part of Swachh Bharath started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several celebrities of India are participating voluntarily and doing their bit for clean India. And also they are nominating some more people to join the campaign. Now, young and dynamic hero Ram Pothineni was nominated by prominent politician and Lok Satta chief Jaya Prakash Narayana. Ram along with his fans has cleaned up a street of the Government High School at Yellareddy Guda in Hyderabad on Thursday morning as part of his participation in Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharath Abhiyan which pledges to clean the Nation.
“I’m very happy to be part of this great campaign initiated by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And I feel honoured to have been nominated by Jaya Prakash Narayana to participate in this Swatchh Bharath challenge. We will see the clean India soon. I have chosen the location with care. My fans suggested the Government High School at Yellareddy Guda. We have cleaned up the street leading to the school. If each and every citizen of India spend 1 hour for cleaning, our nation will soon become clean nation. Let’s all come together and clean up India. We have not had heroines join the programme. Some heroines like Samantha had also social responsibility. I would like to nominate actresses like Samantha, Tamanna, Hansika and Rakul Preet Singh to participate in this challenge,” said Ram.
