Rain Tree Park Run 2016, Hyderabad

The First Rain Tree Park (RTP) Run, 2016 held today saw the participation of over 300 runners for 3K and 10K runs. The run was jointly organized by the Welfare Association of Rain Tree Park and Rain Tree Park Runners, with support from Hyderabad Runners. The run was jointly flag off by Mr. P. Ashok (Asst. Commissioner of Police, Traffic) Kukatpally and Mr. P. Rambabu, Vice-President of Rain Tree Park Association.

The event was able to fulfill its purpose of creating awareness about fitness and running among the fellow township residents. It was a fun filled and lively event, which many residents have enjoyed with whole family. The excitement was palpable among Rain Tree Park residents and they showed overwhelming response to this event. The highlight of the event was the significant participation of females and senior citizens. Most of the participants appreciate the event and vowed to continue running/walking to live active lifestyle.
All the successful participants were given a nice completion medal to cherish this run. The main sponsor of the event was INCOR INFRASTRUCTURE, which has also given the special sports t-shirt to all the participants. CARE Hospital, hi-tech city was the medical partner and also the associate sponsor of the event along with Tribal Inverters and Batteries. A team of over 50 volunteers managed the event and provided a great experience to all the participants.

Rain Tree Park runners group was formed in the year 2015 by 5 runners lead by Mr. Ashish Maheshwari (IT Employee) marathon runner by himself and is an active member of Hyderabad Runners and Member of Airtel Hyderabad Marathon Organizing committee.
