Ikebana International Hyderabad Chapter#250
ADVERTISEMENT
Ikebana International Hyderabad Chapter was founded in 1997 by Late Grandmaster Horyu Meena Anantnarayan in 1999. The membership now stands at more than 50 members. Members meet every month over interesting workshops, exhibitions, Japanese culture programs and Indo Japanese fusion events. The committee works hard at promoting Ikebana and spreading the art by organizing various kinds of programs.
The program for the month was a workshop of Ikebana using fans and talk on Mulching where members turned up dressed in white, keeping in tune with the summer season and did arrangements. The workshop was a visual treat to the eye. It was a session full of learning where members interacted with each other before the chapter closed for a summer break.
