The World's Leading Dance Event Sensation Curtain Raiser

It is indeed a proud moment for music lovers in India as state of the art international phenomenon Sensation, is making a headway onto Indian Territory.

To kick-start the countdown, celebrated actors from Tollywood, like Regina Cassandra, Akhil Akkineni, Rakul Preet Singh amongst others were present alongside Shri B.Venkatesham, IAS- Secretary to Govt. of Telangana Tourism and Culture Department. The esteemed guests present addressed the media on 3rd March at Block 22, Hitech City to welcome the famed artists to India and express their happiness about the highly-anticipated event being held in the city on 5th March.

With a grand line up of the best international DJs such as Afrojack, Axwell, Laidback Luke, Lost Frequencies and Mr. White, Hyderabad will become the first city in India to host this spectacular event at Gachibowli Stadium, which will be transformed into an endless white-oasis for the epic night. The Sensation concept has won awards for 'best event of the year' in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Brazil and Denmark. Sensation uses the positive power of music and dance as a universal language, which connects millions of people around the world.

Thrilled to be witnessing the first ever Sensation event in India, Famous Film actor Akhil Akkineni said, “I always wanted to visit Sensation and now we have Sensation coming to Hyderabad. It will be a great experience and I am looking forward to listening to the brilliant artists lined up for the same. Let’s dress in white and unite.”

Commenting on the stellar line-up, Regina Cassandra said, “Sensation is a unique concept where everyone has to dress in white to enjoy music without any barriers. The excitement and the buzz that I feel in the city is palpable and the artists performing are my favorites. I will see you there on March 5th.”

Expressing her excitement about the World’s Leading Dance Event that is coming to Hyderabad for the first time, Rakul Preet Singh said, “Have followed Sensation and have always wanted to go for their Amsterdam event. Until now, Sensation has toured over 30 countries and welcomed over two million visitors worldwide and India is ready to witness the much-awaited event for the first time on Saturday, March 5. The venue, Gachibowli stadium, will see everyone dressed in white and immersed in a wave of euphoria creating an atmosphere of togetherness. This will be Afrojack’s second gig in Hyderabad; on his first gig he rocked Hyderabad and put Hyderabad on the map of Dance Music. Sensation White’s resident DJ, Mr. White will create the perfect vibe during the six-hour show, followed by epic sets by world renowned artists. With thousands of people geared up, this year’s show is set to be a mind blowing experience.

Sensation will be travelling with 13 containers from Amsterdam to India by road and ocean. It will take over 7 days to build the show apart from the six months of exhaustive planning. 50 specialist crew members team will fly from Amsterdam to help and put the show together. The stage will be of the size 242 feet in length and 75 feet high. The stage will be a gigantic custom-designed carousel that will rotate thrice per minute amidst flying horses. The carousel will be controlled by computers and will feature 12 astounding dancers. Every time another DJ starts, there will be another show moment, theatrical acts, and fireworks. The show will employ more than 1142400 watts of audio power, 800 Lighting fixtures, 30 engineers and a local crew of more than 500 people. Over 96 moving heads will be installed in between the decoration. The inflatable girls will be made of 3000m of fabric. The arches will be driven by a hydraulic system and will be controlled with a computer. The pyro design will include more than 70 positions from where the pyro will be shot.

His national identity has been a heavy hallmark in terms of his global success. Alongside long serving peers and childhood friends Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, Swedish House Mafia has stamped out the animosity once associated with popular Dance music, setting a new precedent with such chart-topping endeavors as ‘Save the World’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and momentous live landmarks at Madison Square Garden, Milton Keynes Bowl and Main stage Ultra, Miami. Their legendary farewell tour ‘One Last Tour’ racked up a landmark run of 53 shows across 36 cities for the enigmatic trio.

LAIDBACKE LUKE

Laidback Luke has conquered the world after two-decade of producing worldwide hits and remixes. He was chosen as “the most talented new producer” in the year 1995. He’s a source of inspiration to numerous DJ’s, from Avicii to Afrojack. He’s produced huge hits and has collaborated with Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Diplo and Swedish House Mafia. He has remixed tracks of world famous artists such as Madonna, Depeche Mode and Mariah Carey.

LOST FREQUNCIES

At the tail end of 2014, a shining new talent emerged from the Belgian house community and sent sizeable waves through both the genre and the music charts of Europe. Felix De Laet, better known by his moniker Lost Frequencies, released the global smash hit ‘Are You With Me’ back in August 2014 and quickly cemented himself as a name to watch, with the track rapidly ascending to the #1 spot on British, Australian, German, Austrian, Irish and Swiss music charts simultaneously – an incredible achievement for such a young artist.
