IIID Showcase Insider X 2016 at HITEX, Hyderabad

The IIID Design Showcase InsiderX 2016 is back!

Hyderabad, February 5th, 2015: The City of Nawabs and Kababs, Hyderabad is playing host to the InsiderX 2016 - a 3 day IIID Design Showcase, between February 5 & 7, 2016 at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in the heart of the IT district of Cyberabad. Chief Guest Smt. K. Kavitha, MP (TRS), inaugurated InsiderX 2016 hosted by Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), on Friday at HITEX. Also present on the occasion were Guests of Honour Ar. Sanjay Puri, Award Winning Architest & Shri Pratap Jadhav, IIID, President.

Curated by architects and interior designers at the Institute of Indian Interior Designers, Hyderabad Chapter, which turned twenty this year, the Expo has been specifically crafted for the interior design fraternity and aims at bringing the vast industry on to a single platform. The 3 day design expo is a primarily B2B Design Expo showcasing the emerging trends and contemporary design solutions in Architecture and Interior Design.

The Design Expo is a part of ‘Jashn-e-Design’, a Carnival of Celebration that will mark the 20th anniversary of the IIID Hyderabad Regional Chapter. The celebrations featured a week long jamboree of Interior design related events - Heritage walk, tour of modern architectural landmarks around Hitec City and Gachibowli, movies, student competitions, Designers' portfolios, A Speakers' Forum at Avasa featuring national and international architects and designers, a unique Design Street on Road No. 12 Banjara Hills a la the Milan Style Street and the IIID Showcase InsiderX 2016 at Hitex Convention Centre, that had received rave reviews last year.

Says IIID-HRC Chairperson Sona Chatwani “Riding on the name and the experience that we derived from the first InsiderX Design expo, we have come up with a larger format for the IIID Showcase InsiderX 2016, with over 30 verticals represented, 250+ brands and 130+ stalls. Last year, we had a great mix of architects, interior designers, design related trade professionals, builders, project managers, MEP consultants, as well as industry specifiers from defence, government and the corporate sectors and serious home-builders that showed up. Being at the cusp of development of the two States of AP and Telangana, we think that we are strategically placed to build a stronger industry presence through this medium.”

Outside support for the event was extended by related organizations like the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) -Telangana Chapter, the Crafts Council of AP and Telangana, ISHRAE-Deccan Chapter, Indian Plumbing Association, INTACH and FSAI.

About the IIID- HRC
The Institute of Indian Interior Designers or the IIID is the apex body for Interior Designers in India and comprises of architects, interior designers, trade members and educationists; on a single platform with a view to share ideas about emerging trends in the design industry. The IIID-HRC is a voluntary organization of practicing interior designers and architects that meets regularly for fellowship events, workshops, seminars, factory tours and technical workshops, out-bound events and heritage walks that seek to push the frontiers of the Design domain.
