• Over 500 participants from over 100 corporate houses from across India are expected to participate in the 3 day Badminton League

Hyderabad, October 09, 2015 — The Third Edition of Inter-Corporate National Badminton League(CBL) will be held in city from November 6th to 8th 2015 at Pullella Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA), Gachibowli. PGBA has associated with CDK Global India, a global leader in providing integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions for the automotive retail industry, to host the 3rd edition of Corporate Badminton League (CBL).

CBL, the brand owned by Hyderabad based Sikhara Events, is open to all non-seeded individuals working in the Indian corporate sector, the league features men's and women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles championships. Winners are awarded attractive cash prizes and gifts along with the coveted Pullela Gopichand Trophy.

Speaking on the occasion SirishaSripada, Director of Sikhara Events said CBL is India's finest national Corporate Badminton Tournament made humble beginning in 2013 under the support and guidance from Shri Pullela Gopichand. With a firm belief that work-life balance is a must for the success of any professional. We have got excllent encouragement from the beginning. The participation swelled from 75 companies to 108 and 450 players from across India.

Off these total 450 participants 120 players competed in Mens Singles Category, 35 players Womens Singles, 32 teams in Mixed Doubles, 16 team in Mens Doubles and 12 Teams in Women Doubles.
The league is growing every year. We would like to thank CDK Global India for coming forward to encourage the sport in corporate world, Sirisha added.

Adding further Sirisha informed that CBL's endeavour would be to reach out every corporate house and their employees to promote the sport and inculcate sports culture among them to keep fit and healthy. The tournament was conducted in a Knock-out Format of Best of 3 Sets (Singles & Doubles) with 21 Point system. The winners will take home attractive cash prizes.

The tremendous success of last two years' event paved the way for the third season of CBL This year, Sikhara Events promises to surpass the registrations of the last year.
