AN ANTI-RAGGING WALKATHON & SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN AN INITIATIVE BY STUDENTS OF LORDS INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
STUDENTS ALSO LAUNCHES "ANTI-RAGGING CELL-HYDERABAD '-A FIRST OF ITS KIND FACEBOOK PAGE WHERE STUDENTS FROM ANY COLLEGE CAN UPDATE ANY INCIDENT RELATED TO RAGGING.

"Let Say No to Ragging" a first of its kind Initiative against ragging in Hyderabad by the Students of Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology has always been one of the pioneers in creative social initiatives, the college plans do a lot of activities in future to create social awareness in the society.

Anti-Ragging Walkathon is a One Kilometre walk from Mehdipatnam-Bus Stop to Nanai Nagar X Roads, the reason for the present location is the area's is the main connecting place for more then 50 engineering colleges located around Himayathsagar, Moinabad, Chevella, Vikarabad, Etc. The Students have also created a huge White Flexi for signature campaigns were the students will do a signature campaign with students around the bus stop of Mehdipatnam.

More than 100 Student volunteer from Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology took part in this initiative, students walked till Nanai Nagar Cross Roads with placards, pictures, banners appealing the society to have a strict orientation towards the ragging and to report ragging at their Facebook page-"anti-ragging cell-Hyderabad”.

Speaking on the Occasion Mr. Tauseef Vice-Chairman Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology said that "the students has come with such a novel idea that we the management has decided to support it throughout”, he added that “Ragging is a punishable offence and we at our college has ensure zero tolerance towards this ill form of society and has been successful in maintaining the college ragging free.
