International Jawa Day Celebrations 2014 by Yezdi Club of Hyderabad

Jawa and Yezdi Club of Hyderabad (JAYCOH) was started by a few like minded people having the passion of restoring the yesteryears superbikes Jawas and Yezdis that roared on the Indian Roads, Jawa's were manufactured till 1974 and the last of the Yezdi (RoadKing) were manufactured till 1996 before the plant got shut due to labour problems. Currently JAYCOH has over 950 active members from across the country and a few from overseas too. Every 2 Sunday of the month the members meet at Ashoka Bhoopal Chambers, Sardar Patel Road, Secunderabad and have rides ranging from 50 to 200 Kilometers, the activities of JAYCOH are on Facebook page "Jawa and Yezdi Club of Hyderabad".

About DECCAN CLUB
Deccan Club, established in the year 1900. The club is famous as a social club and is one of the leading clubs for Billiards and Snookers. The club has regular family get to gathers.

About INTERNATIONAL JAWA DAY
Every year on the 2nd Sunday of July is celebrated as International Jawa Day where all the owners of CZ, Jawa and Yezdi motorcycle owners proudly display their motorcycles and go for a ride. The Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad has a huge population of these vintage and classic motor cycles. Our goal is to make all these motorcycles road worthy and ride on this day.

This year Shri R Chandravadan, Commissioner I & PR has consented to be the Chief Guest of the event and Mr. N V Subash has consented to be the Guest of Honour. They will be flagging of the event where all the motorcycles will be going for ride from Deccan Club to Necklace Road and back to Deccan Club at 9.30 AM. After the ride the motorcycles will be on display at the club till 11.30 AM.
