SK Bikes Private Limited launches Gang Brand Bicycles, Hyderabad

S.K. BIKES PVT. LTD. LAUNCHES GANG BRAND BICYCLES

To increase its production capacity from current 9 lakh bikes to 20 lakh bikes per annum by setting up a new plant at Ludhiana which will be equipped to cater to the rising demand of domestic market, Subcontinent and to cater European markets.

Hyderabad… 6 May 2014: Ludhiana based S.K. Bikes Pvt. Ltd., the bicycle manufacturing company that registers a sale of 9 lakh bicycles annually dealing in more than 100 plus models unveiled a new range of GANG Bicycles here at a city resort today.

The Gang Bicycle Range includes 100 plus models in wide variety of colours catering to the age group of 3 to 15 years. Gang range has more colour options than contemporary bikes in the market. They come with features such as Power Brakes, Twisted Spokes, Alloy Clutch, Alloy Rims, Disk Brakes, etc. The price range varies from Rs.2500/- to Rs.8000/-

This new range is available in the state through their sole distributors for Andhra Pradesh Rajanik Cycle Agencies. Rajanik Cycle Agencies is a 60 years old company that sells 60,000 bicycles annually and is expanding its market base.

Announcing this addressing dealers, Mr. Sachin Lakra, Executive Director and Rajesh Kapoor, Director of Marketing, S.K. Bikes informed that the company is in the process of starting a new manufacturing unit at Ludhiana in Punjab in next two years with a capacity to manufacture 20 lakh cycles per annum from the present capacity of 9 lakh pieces per year.

The new state-of-the-art plant will be well equipped to cater to the rising needs of domestic market, Sub-continent and European markets, they informed.

We have pan India presence. Out of total production of 9 lakh bikes majority of them are sold in domestic market. A very limited production is also sold in Asian Sub-Continent in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and other countries informed, Mr. Kush Bansal, General Manager of the company.

Adding further, he stated that company has come up with retail division in the name of S.K. Mart (P.) Ltd., whereas they have plans to open Exclusive Bicycle Stores all over the country. To begin with we will have 20 to 25 stores opened during this year. In next three to four years we would like to open more than 200 stores across India, he informed.
