• MORE THAN 1500 DEVOTEES WILL DONATE THEIR BLOOD IN THE CAMP. THE MISSION EXPECTS TO DONATE 20,000 UNITS OF BLOOD ON A SINGLE DAY.
Sant Nirankari Mission will be organising "The Blood Donation Camp" on the occasion of Manav Ikta Divas. Under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the Sant Nirankari Mission will organize 69 blood donation camps across the country. The day is observed as Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day). To commemorate the supreme sacrifice of its former Spiritual Head. Baba Gurbachan Singh JI and to remember hundreds of devotees who laid down their lives tbr the noble cause of truth* love, peace and unity.
The series of the Blood Donation Camps will start from Delhi inaugurated by Ills Holiness Baba llardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Many devotees are likely to donate their blood in the Hyderabad camp. Sant Nirankari Mission expects to donate 20.000 units of blood through the series of camps.
The Mission today Is one of the leading blood donating voluntary organisations In the country, liven though the flrst blood donation camp was organized on the eve of the Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in Delhi In November. 1986. those camps have been organized every year since 1987 as a part of Manav Ekta Diwas Samagam. Since then there Is no looking back, livery year there is an increase in the number of devotees coming forward to donate blood.
Besides Delhi, the other oamps Include In states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rt\)asthan, Madhya Pradesh, Onjarat, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Pui\|ab, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Uttrakhand, Chandigarh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Andaman and Assam.
