Inorbit Cyberabad attempts to break Guinness World Record of longest Selfie Relay

Inorbit malls, Cyberabad saw the cool dads and kids of the city participate in an initiative by the inorbit Malls to attempt a Guniess Book of World record event in making a longest Selfie relay chain in the mall. The selfie relay was an attempt to break Guinness world record held by Stoa's National Invitational Tournament of Champions 2015 (USA).

1 he campaign was conceptualized around a massive Father's Day celebration in association with Radio Mirchi, Aparna Constructions and Estates Pvt. Ltd. and Mapmygenome India Ltd. Star cast of the telegu movie Tiger' including actors Sandip Kishan, Sirat Kapoor and Rahul Ravindran was also present at the mall during the occasion. They made participants' and visitors' day special by meeting and greeting them.

800 participants successfully attempted Guinness World Record for the longest self-photographs (selfies) relay chain on 281>I June 2015 in Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad. Every participant clicked 1 selfie each with a Smartphone or tablet held by the participant appearing in the picture. All 800 participants stood in a line before the attempt started at around 3 PM. The event was organised at the Third Level of the Mall, in the presence of external monitors. The record was supervised to ensure that no more people were allowed into the line once the attempt started. Each participant was allowed to hold the phone or tablet for not more than 60 seconds to click their selfie. External Observers were present to monitor the attempt to ensure all the guidelines are followed during the attempt including exact number of participants.
