The Atlanta Foundation (TAF), a not-for-profit organization, along with prominent industry forums namely NASSCOM, ITsAP, FICCI, TiE and AMCHAM and with the support of its charity partner United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) brings India's biggest corporate cycling event, The Freedom Ride - 2013 at the Gachibowli Stadium.
It has been 5 years since TAF has been organizing the corporate cycling events in the city. On the occasion of our Independence Day, you can celebrate 66 years of our Freedom by riding 66Kms. There are shorter options of 2Km+. There is also a Criterium Race for all professional cyclists where you can win a medal and cash prize. But the highlight of the event is our all-exclusive women cycling team called Strong Woman, Strong Nation! Apart from this, there are raffles where you can win a free cycle or participate in our Capital game and win an amazing prize. This is truly a cycling carnival with something for everyone.
Our prime sponsors include APIIC, Hartex Products, KonyLabs, Diebold, and Tech Mahindra. Our associate sponsors are HSBC, BIMTECH, Pega Systems. Our radio partner are Radio City 91.1FM.
These rides which began in 2009 with 189 riders, today will witness a participation of approximately 6000 riders. These riders are part of the vast corporate network in the city. Deloitte, CA, GE, Wells Fargo, Infosys, Wipro, United Health Group, Google and many many more are active participating corporate teams.
But the USP of this event is that with every registration and sponsorship, we are able to provide quality education to underprivileged students in our education program. These students are from the government schools we have adopted.

Our rides (including the Republic Ride on January 26) are for all those who are a concerned citizen or an avid cyclist. The Freedom Ride is your chance to make a positive difference to those who really need it, while you celebrate our nationally important day.
