HYDERABAD, India (July 06, 2013): Nissan today announced the launch of New Nissan Micra, which sports bold, energetic exterior and premium interiors. Also sharing the centre stage is Micra Active, which is a spacious hatchback offering quality and functionality at a competitive price.

New Micra is based on the popular fourth generation city car with major redesigned exteriors, refreshed premium interiors and exhaustive list of advanced user friendly features adds to the dynamic new look.

The nationwide sales for New Nissan Micra and Micra Active, built on Nissan's versatile 'V' platform will commence from July 03, 2013.

The Micra has a heritage spanning more than 30 years and has established its credentials by winning many awards and accolades worldwide. The global sales of Micra, also known as March in many countries, exceeds 6.5 million units. New Nissan Micra carries this legacy forward and has been updated to meet the different tastes and needs of customers in both developed markets and growing markets like India.
