New team of FLO Hyderabad assumes charge To mark the occasion a talk "Business and Beyond" by Sanjay Reddy held
Hyderabad, June 21: A change of guard too place at FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad today. Team headed by Ms. Jyotsna Angara as Chairperson and Governing Board Member assumed office.
A graduate in Psychology, Sociology from Osmania University, Jyotsna has over a two decades of experience in Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Branding and related fields.
The other office bearers include Monika Agarwal-Sr. Vice-Chairperson and Governing Board Member; Rekha Lahoti- Vice-Chairperson; K. Aparna Reddy -Secretary; Sumalatha Chitti--Joint Secretary; Kamini Saraf--Treasurer; G. Aparna Reddy--Governing Board Member and National Nominee.
New Team of Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) headed by Ashita Nawalgariah--Chairperson and Governing Board Member; Shakuntala Divi---Vice-Chairperson; Samia Alam Khan---Secretary; Shruti Malpani--Treasurer; Ritu Shah--Program Mentor will assumed charge
These new office bearers will be in office for one year. The installation function is graced by Mr. Sanjay Reddy Vice Chairman of GVK as Chief Guest and also delivered a talk "Business and Beyond ".
Commenting about her taking over of the FLO activities as Chairperson, Jyotsna Angara said "as we all know, women are becoming part of the national resurgence towards development in all spheres. And although they are making a significant contribution, their work goes largely unnoticed. Na one realizes this better than FLO. I will strive hard to make a difference to the community, she informed".
FICCI Ladies Organisation is a national body with the prime objective of women empowerment through the promotion of entrepreneurship and managerial excellence. Established in 1983, FLO is a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), which is the apex body of Industry and Chambers of Commerce in India.
FLO t is one of the most prestigious pan-India business organizations with 10 chapters and nearly 3200 members across India, committed to working towards women empowerment through business women development and capacity building initiatives besides other programmes.
The Hyderabad Chapter began its operations in the year2002 and has a membership base of about 400 members.
Some of the services and activities of the FLO include: Personality Development, Awareness Programs, Training, Business Consultancy, Networking and Recognition.
FLO also has Young FLO (YFLO), a forum for the career women, it is a community of career women between 20 and 39.
