Radio Mirchi Sankranti Sambaralu

Hyderabad, January 13, 2013: Radio Mirchi 98.3FM, Hyderabad’s hottest radio station in association with Beam Fiber celebrated Sankranti this year with much pomp and grandeur. Hyderabadis on Sunday witnessed joyful Sankranti celebrations as Radio Mirchi teamed up with internet giants Beam Fiber and organized Rangoli and kite flying competitions at Shilparamam, Hyderabad’s art & heritage point.

A huge crowd and Mirchi listeners had gathered at Shilparamam to witness the euphoria of Sankranthi celebrations. Few lucky Mirchi listeners who were chosen on-air, got a golden opportunity to be a part of the competitions along with their favourite RJs Hemanth, Ghajini and Dheeraja. The teams with the most striking Rangoli and skill in kite flying were declared winners. Later in the evening, an ensemble of Tollywood playback singers ensured that the crowd hummed the songs and swiveled to their music. The musical performance was the highlight of the evening as it ensured that the Hyderabadis got to have a great time this Sankranti.
