The evenings at Taj Krishna just got hotter with the singing sensation Laura Meldon s arrival from Brisbane, Australia. At a young age, Laura has been the recipient of some of the most prestigious awards in the singing set. Laura is a talented performer and theatre-maker and looks forward to engaging the next generation with her skills.

Laura embarked on a singing career in 2009 sprinkled with various theatre roles like leads in All Shook up, Natalie Arena Stage Spectacular and Theatre in Education. Her first major break was in 2009 with PULP Summer Slam where she performed with the international rock band Unholy Ground'.

In 2012, Meldon won a medley of gold medals in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles across all the following categories Pop, Contemporary, Broadway, Opera and Variety. In showcasing her talent she has been associated with various clubs and theatres like Brisbane Powerhouse, Visy Theatre and Caries League Club.

Laura was named the finalist at Carina Leagues Club and Brisbane Powerhouse, Visa theatre. She also performed in 'Alive in Australia' as TV Pilot at the QLD-rep for musical theatre. With noteworthy credits in both theatre and musical productions the stage is now set for her to take the city by storm.
