Anoo's International Beauty School celebrates 6th Convocation

Anoo's International Beauty School (AIBS), Hyderabad, the educational arm of Anon's Salon and Clinical Services, today held its 6th Convocation at Anoo's International Beauty School (AIBS), Somajiguda at Hyderabad. Currently the school has close to 150 students from across the country and international students from countries like Singapore, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Close to 71 students, both men and women had to balance between rigorous theory and practical classes to be able to qualify as a recipient of the certificates given out by AIBS. This year's graduates form a varied band of professionals completing their courses in specialized courses like Skin, Make-up, Nail Art, Anoo's signature treatments, Hair, to name a few. Each of these graduates have been placed with brands like Lakme, Naturals, O2, VLCC, Oliva Skin Clinics, Vibes, Labella, Mirrors and of course at Anoo's.

Present on the occasion Ms. Anuradha CH, Director of Anoo's Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women commented "Every year, Anoo's International Beauty School sends out professionally trained graduates who will go out into the field and fill the gap the industry faces. This is definitely a proud moment for us to see our students use their skills and talents to earn their livelihood. A host of classical dance performances that included Tamil Folk dance left the audience entertained and light hearted. A starry performance of the evening came in the form of 'Retro to Metro' theme fashion show which was showcased by the students. The show captured the fashion scene from 1960's till date and was conceived and implemented by 4th batch, M.Sc. Cosmetology students.

In their 7 years of existence, AIBS has till date send out over 700 trained professionals who form an effective workforce of premium beauty product and services across India and beyond. The school also enjoys a unique distinction of being India's first and only beauty school to offer a Post Graduate course, i.e., M.Sc in Cosmetology in collaboration with the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Admissions for this course are now open and forms are available at all Anoo's facilities and can be downloaded from www.aibs.in.

Best Performance was won by Ms. K. Niharika from Anoo’s Diploma Course & Ms. Meghamala of Ms. Cosmetology.

With the beauty industry growing at a rate of 15-20% per annum and the demand for skilled and professionally trained technicians at an all-time high, sending out graduates from the school would not have come at a better time.
