Spreading a Little Happiness at Nalaas Aappakadai

The program marked with two unique things-- feeding underprivileged kids with Appams, which are considered India's answer to Pizzas and Burgers and Showcasing them Kiyaa—India's dolls of own Kids enjoyed Rangoli Appam, the specialty of Sankranthi Khan Ali Khan Music, Kiyaa dolls etc entertained kids.

Christmas, New Year and Sankranthi is a time of celebration, hope and laughter.

The sad truth, however, is that there are millions of children around the world who are deprived of this experience, not because they've been naughty, but because they come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot afford to celebrate.

New Year comes and goes. But, that doesn't bring any change in their life. And these are underprivileged children. We want to make a little difference.

So we invited few underpriveled kids to Nalas Appakadai for a lunch.We want to give them an experience of India's Largest Appams Selling Restaurant 'Nalaas Aappakadai' The Chain of 15 Restaurants—12 in India and 3 in overseas-one each in London, Abhudabhi and Paris.

We want these boys to try many varieties of Specialty Appams , "Tanjore Chiken" and "Kanyakumari Chicken Biryani" among other cuisines which they hardly get to taste informed Guru, Brand Director of Nalas Appakadai
Lot of people welcome New Year in grand way with late-night parties or night-outs, we want to usher in the New Year in a meaningful way.

We plan to spend New Year's and Sankranthi Eve with underprivileged children, spreading the message of happiness and bringing smiles back at least for couple of hours on the faces of these less fortunate kids added Guru

Unfortunately these deprived class kids are blamed for no mistake of their own. They keep themselves away from mainstream.

Nalaas Aappakadai in association with Khan Ali Khan-a well known ghazal singer; Kiyaa Dolls, Aasara Home for the Orphans, e Merchant Digital, Lodge Keys No. 297, Star NGO organized a fun filled Luncheon for 50 underprivileged kids on the eve of the New Year and Sankranthi.

They were made special, pampered. They were made to cut cake. Entertained with melodious ghazals by Khan Ali Khan.

Hyderabad's Start Up Shel Studio Design n Events LLP displayed Kiyaa--lndia's Fashion Doll and to entertain the kids.

These special children were made to unveil posters of social messages Promoting Blood Donation, Eye Donation, Harvesting Rain Water, Safe Disposal of E Waste, Do Not Waste, Conserve Energy etc.

E Merchant Digial displayed interesting objects made out of electronic waste to communicate to public that e waste is a bomb to explored if not addressed properly.

Then they were fed with sumptuous lunch where they had cherished many varieites of Uppams which include: Plain, Egg, Bulls eye, Egg Masala, Chicken Appams, Kids spl Aappam, Rangoli Aappam, Cheese Aappam, Cheese cashew Aappam, Gingelly cheese Aappam, Butter Paneer Aappam.

Besides these "Tanjore Chicken", "Kanyakumari Chicken Biryani" "Chicken Tandoori, Paneer Tikka", Yummy Fish Finger, Spicy Mixed Kebabs, Soups, Starters, Curries, Breads, Rice & Noodles, Desserts. It was made our Special Day and we really are happy said Ravi, participants from Aasara Orphanage.

Today's children are tomorrow's citizens. It is a great opportunity to spend time with these kids. This afternoon has been well spent said Sailaja whose brain child are Kiyaa dolls of India's own.
