Satrang - The Annual Art Festival at Glendale

As a school, Glendale Academy International believes in and practices `Multiple Intelligences'. We took inspiration from the hugely successful Aamir Khan starrer, 'Taare Zameen Par' in the academic year 2007¬08 and launched 'Satrang', an art festival. The school has had a terrific response from the students and their creative expression has superbly authenticated the films tagline, 'Every child is special'. The festival enables numerous students to express their creativity, visually providing a sense of achievement and fulfillment.

The event partners were YFLO and Richmond Villas. YFLO was established as a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Its members comprise entrepreneurs, professionals and corporate executives. Richmond Villas is a unique construction house that builds state of the art villas blended with luxury and nature.

Glendale campus was splashed with extraordinary ideas and colours on Saturday, 20 August, 2011 with its successful 5th art festival. Parents were invited to give rein to their imagination, either solo or in collaboration with their child. The theme this year was 'Glendale goes Green - Hara Bhara Jahan. Through this initiative YFLO aims to sensitize the children towards respecting nature and living in harmony with it.

The event was held from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. and was followed by the awards ceremony.
