Sumanth to Promote Radio Mirchi's Save the Lake Programme

Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Hyderabad's hottest radio station proudly presents 'Radio Mirchi Save the Lake', a campaign celebrating the 'Lake Festival' to create awareness about the hazards of Pollution . The week long initiative which klick started on July 24, 2011 was graced with the presence of the star Sumanth, urging the people of Hyderabad to help curb the effects of pollution on the Hussain Sagar.
To mark the significance of the occasion, Radio Mirchi set out graffiti boards at all major locations on the Necklace Road encouraging the citizens of Hyderabad to take an oath to save the Beautiful Hussain Sagar and restoring it to its fomer glory.
Adding more energy to the cause Radio Mirchi organized an on-air contest exclusively for its listeners. Where in the listeners call in to Radio Mirchi and come up with innovative ideas to save the lake. The listener with the best idea wins a chance to cruise with the RJs of Radio Mirchi. Radio Mirchi constantly urge the listeners to participate and come up with fresh ideas to save the Hussain Sagar. Two days into the contest Radio Mirchi is already receiving overwhelming response from the thrilled and proactive citizens of Hyderabad.
