Siva Kumar Emmadi is also the founder of Vysya Business Network (VBN) and Founder of ONS IT Solutions besides being an active member of the Vysya community. The genesis of the idea lies in the encouragement of Entrepreneurial Spirit which is slowly fading out in our community and at the same time also the other communities were fusing their energies for the development of their own communities whereas the Vysya community was doing its own bit, but albeit in a limited way. Siva felt that the Vysya community also needs to come together more effectively and efficiently.
While more than 150-200 Vysya organisations exist and each one of them is working hard towards their own set objectives and goals there was not a single Association or Club that was formally celebrating the achievements of Vysyas in the country nor were they formally recognising their professional successes. Most of these entities were focusing on social and cultural spaces and very few were focusing on emerging technologies and businesses and how Vysyas can leverage them. Siva and team felt that changing dynamics need a changing thought process and he conceptualised Vysya Limelight Inc., to be the vehicle to meet this goal.
Vysya Limelight Inc (VLI)., has been set up to recognise and reward Vysya achievers and will focus on Awards / Seminars / Conferences / Lectures / Publishing etc and take up such activities that encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and spirit of professionalism among members of the Vysya community. VLI will be run on professional lines and it is being actively supported by fellow Vysya professionals.
A board of eminent Vysya personalities are part of Jury and also eminent personalities are part of advisory board is being formed to advise and recommend the way forward. Plans and programs are being conceptualized and the Vysya Limelight Awards will be the first event.
