The sector is fragmented with 7,67,000 establishments, 98% of which are micro-sized laundries with fewer than 10 workers. The organised segment comprises a mere 2-3% of the entire laundry market in India. With more working couples with hectic schedules than ever before here, the laundry service market in India is expected to grow to $76.5 billion by next year
Employment
The corporate office and plant currently employs around 100 people that are functional across many teams that include washing, pressing, packaging, marketing and analytics. By building a scalable model and plans to take the brand PAN India, we aim at creating lot of employment opportunities for both skilled and unskilled manpower.
Capacity and expansion
Quicio currently operates with 1 plant in the city and is opening 2 new plants in the next Smonths and a total of 5 new plants within a year. Quicio will currently serve customers across Hyderabad and as per the demand, we plan to scale up first in the city and then move to other cities and towns across the country. We also plan to start with franchising the brand in other cities and towns.
Partner's Profile
Madhu is postgraduate from Brunei University, London. Madhu has around twelve years of experience as a Manager and Entrepreneur during her work stint across UK and India. She has worked for around 3.5 years as a Specialist in Quest Diagnostics in London. Quest Diagnostics is one of the biggest clinical trials and clinical diagnostics provider across USA & Europe. Post her returning to India in 2010, she associated with a leading solar company She was Head of Admin & HR during the time when the company expanded operations and had presence in majority of the states in India.
In 2015 - 17, she cofounded Cafe Blanc Glace - a continental & JtaJian Bake House in Hyderabad. In July 2019, she cofounded Handcrafted Foods and operates the Hyderabad master franchise for Orica, a wellness theme based Cafe. The cafe concept will impact holistic wellness vibe in the society.

Pavan Kishore Goparajuis a Commerce graduate passed out in 2005, started his career as a Payroll analyst in an MNC he ventured into consulting business in the year 2009, Pavan has provided financial consulting for Flight Operating companies, IT companies, E-commerice companies and many other start-ups.
Pavan is the Co-founder of India's first film incubator studio Cspace (a soda! enterprise) along with Navdeep to set up a platform for aspirants aiming to start their career in the cinema industry.
With an experience of over 14 years in the management consulting for start-ups and SMEs and being a promoter of start-ups in the field of F&B and Media, he nowpartnered with Madhu Lahari to introduce laundry services brand Quiclo. Quiclo provides top-notch laundry services, through call and app based platforms, with home pickup & delivery options.
CEO Harsha Vardhan Chiruvella has around 7 years of experience as a Consultant and has worked for a wide range of private, public and non-profit organisations, including: IQVIA, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Ministry of Rural Development (Gol) and Accenture. He has worked across domains such as Public Health, Poverty Alleviation and Supply Chain Management in multiple geographies. Harsha didhis MBA from HEC Paris and also has a Masters from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor in Engineering from Deccan College.
He is currently working on several projects, and is also currently the CEO for the laundry services brand Quiclo.
