Hyderabad: 05th July, 2019: TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad) is taking place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) from July 5-6. It is the largest travel trade show in South India, featuring many domestic and outbound destinations for Indian tourists.
Indian tourists took around 26 million international trips and 1.8 billion within India in 2018. India is also one of the fastest growing markets in the world for business and MICE-related travel. Of this, 40% of the outbound market is from South India, distributed among several states - Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad) brings the best of travel trade from the booming South Indian travel market under one roof.
More than 165 exhibitors from 3 countries and 12 states are participating this year in TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad). Sri Lanka, the Partner Country for TTF SOUTH is participating with a large delegation. Macao has joined the show as the Feature Country of 2019. China, Maldives, Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and Ukraine are other countries being represented at the two-day marquee travel trade show.
Among the Indian States, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal are participating as the Partner States. Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Punjab are the Feature States. TTF South also has participation and representation from Karnataka, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala.
About 46 corporates and 168 travel trade buyers from all over India are being hosted for the show within the show venue hotel Novotel, attached to the HICC. The hosted buyers have pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors, using the online meeting diary.
This year’s TTF in Hyderabad will also host the TTF Forum. It is a knowledge-sharing platform which will bring thought leaders from the travel industry for exclusive interactions and Q&A sessions. Learn trends, best practices and much more from the best in the business at the Forum. With an umbrella theme of the Changing Dynamics of Indian Travel, TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad) will witness panel discussions on ‘Decoding Corporate Travel Trends, What’s in Store for 2019’ and ‘Managing Large Corporate Travel Budgets’. The knowledge panels will have corporate travel experts from Sharekhan, Helms Briscoe, GIA India, HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. and others.

The first day of the show and the first half of the second day is reserved only for the travel trade. The show will be open to all from 2 PM on July 6.
The two-day travel trade show brings together state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways and cruise lines under one roof. There will be colourful displays of various places one can visit, with a hint of their various attractions.

West India editions of TTF will take place in Ahmedabad (August 30, 31, September 1), Surat (September 6-8), Mumbai (September 13-15) and Pune (September 20-22). In 2020, TTF Bengaluru is scheduled from January 17-19 and TTF Chennai on January 24-26.
