Telangana State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., Hyderabad
Telangana State Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (A State Govt. Undertaking) was setup in the year 2015 under Companies Act, 2013 with an objective of Promotion, Development and Marketing of Artistic Handicrafts and Textiles and welfare of about more than One Lakh crafts persons working in different craft pockets spread all over Telangana State.
As a part of Marketing Support to the artisans of the State, the Telangana State Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited would be organizing number of marketing events such as Craft Bazaars, Gandhi Shilp Bazaars, Exhibitions etc within and outside the State to provide direct Marketing support by inviting craft persons from all over the State for display-cum-sale of their products. The present event Golkonda Craft Bazaar which is being organized at NTR Stadium, Near Indira Park, Kavadiguda, Hyderabad from 4 January, 2019 to 13 January, 2019 jointly by Telangana State Handicrafts Development Corporation and National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) and also National Jute Board by inviting craft persons from all over India. The main objective of organizing the present Golkonda Craft Bazaar is to popularize the crafts and textiles of Telangana State and other regions among the art lovers / public of Hyderabad and create platform for artisans to sell their products among public.

Around 120 artisans / weavers are expected to participate in the Golkonda Craft Bazaar from all over the country. Sri Bollam Sampath Kumar Gupta, Hon’ble Chairman, TSHDC Ltd. and Sint. Shailaja Ramaiyer, IAS, VC & Managing Director, TSHDC Ltd. inaugurated this Exhibition on 04.01.2019.
