The Three day “Business to Business” Garment Fair at Hyderabad
Garments Manufacturer and Wholesalers Association (GMWA) is organizing a three days Garment Fair for Garment Manufacturers, Dealers and Retailers. The event is to be held at Citadel Convention Center, Gagan Pahad, Hyderabad on 12th, 13th & 14th August 2018. This B2B event is an opportunity, with all the intermediaries in the Garment Industry participating in this event.
This is the consecutive 20th Edition of the “Garments Fair Hyderabad” being organized by GMWA, Hyderabad. The last 19th Fairs being runaway success. This year Association has changed its venue from regular CLASSIC GARDEN, Secunderabad to CITADEL CONVENTION CENTRE at Gagan Pahad, Hyderabad for a change. The association also organizes Summer Fair in the month of February every year. Three Fairs were organized in three successive years since inception of Summer Fair in the year 2016.
The 20th Garment Fair Hyderabad will witness a much wider participation in terms of Visitors and Exhibitors, who are not only from Telangana & A.P., but also from Mumbai, Indore, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Tirupur, Kolkata and Ludhiana. The huge business potential this fair offer is primarily responsible to attract major national brands to participate in the fair. The strategic dates of the fair are also a contributing factor.
One can look forward to a variety of product lines covering ranges in cotton and blends, woven & knits, treatments & finishes, prints and patterns, lines & stripes, embroideries & appliques. Visitors can expect premium men’s wear, ladies wear and kids wear as well as hosiery with finishes that stand apart. The panorama of exhibitors and buyers include the regulars and the first timers. The participants and visitors who religiously visit the fair are acquainted with each other’s requirements and expectations, while the new comers - both
Buyers and participants look to make new contacts. Last year approx Rs.40 crores of business has been generated with 3000 delegates attending the fair.
The GMWA established in 1998 with a current Member strength of 218, is the state level apex body of Garment Industry and Trade. It has affiliation with FTAPCCI & CMAI. The association is committed to the cause of development of the Apparel trade and Industry. It not only takes steps for promoting but also for supporting or opposing legislation affecting the interest of Garment Industry and Trade. The unique feature of this association is the operation of a Recovery Committee which takes care of financial disputes and bad debts of the Garment Trade.
