Hyderabad, October 3rd, 2017: Tollywood actress Manchu Lakshmi, and several kids from Teach for Change, a NGO inaugurated Kamini Saraf’s Fashion Yatra here in city today at Hotel Taj Krishna. The fashion exhibition which promised a whole new dimension to fashion had 50 stalls.
Kamini Saraf, well known fashion designer was also present at the inaugural function.The proceeds of the Fashion event with a cause will go to Teach For Change- Educating poor children informed Kamini Saraf.
Speaking on the sidelines, Manchu Lakshmi said, Fashion has to reflect who you are. Wear what you are comfortable in. Fashion is something that comes from within. Forget the funda, rules. If you like it wear it informed Manchu Lakshmi.
The highlight of the exhibition was designer wear from many budding fashion designers from across India, Silver Hadirafts, Fashion Jewellery, Designer Foot Wear, Designer Clutches, braded towels(Monogram gifting) , Wall Art, Fabric Jewellery, Pure Antique Silver Items etc and more.
Selesta from Shri Ram Hari Ram, a 227 years old from oldest Jewellers in Delhi known as Dariba Kalan exhibited some unique, rare and collector items such as Handmade Antique Phone made of Pure Silver costing Rs 1.05 lakh, Gramphone Rs 3.41 lakh, Car shaped pure silver Pandans costing Rs 1.65 lakh. Run till present as a tightly-held family unit, our firm has now seen seven generations informs Sangita Kedia. Pandans are most sought after in Hyderabad, she informed. The stall attracted many visitors.
Beyond Square from Udaipur exhibited Pure Silver Jewellery and Silver Handicraft Items were a major attraction.
Gush Shoes and Accessoreis from Mumbai and Delhi showcased handcrafted designer foot wear. A student of NIFT Channai, Vrinda Gupta, Chief Artisan of Gush Shoes and Accessories said her products are uniquely designed to stand out in the clutter of competition. She has come out with One Footwear with many handcrafted Clic which go along with the chappal. Handcrafted Shoes, Chappal and Footwear is a dying art. I want to revive it and give a life to it. I employ lot women artisans. Our products are animal friendly. No leather is used in this collection of footwear. They are very young and colourful products, she informed.
