MAA 2010 Diary Release

“MAA 2010” diary release programme was held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. This programme was attended by Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Murali Mohan, Geetanjali, Rama Prabha, Balayya, Ashok Kumar, AVS, Ali, Manik, Maharshi Raghava, Kadhambari Kiran Kumar, Brahmaji, Vinod Bala, etc.

Before the programme began, 1 minute silence was maintained as a mark of respect for Late Raju, the stunt master. Later Akkineni Nageswara Rao launched the diary and presented it Krishna.

Speaking on the occasion Murali Mohan said, “We had the idea of this diary concept with phone numbers and birthday dates of all stars along with the calendar. This is a pocket size diary can be easily carried anywhere by one and all. Last year Sujan Group sponsored a sum of Rs 50,000/- for MAA diary, whereas the budget went upto Rs 1 lakh due to increase in number of copies. Recently we have collected Rs 6 crores for the flood victims. Since we do not have enough funds in MAA we are unable to provide employment to many artists.”
