NTR's Press Meet
NTR's Press Meet

Jr NTR held a press meet today to rubbish away the rumors that have been circling about his involvement in Kodali Nani’s party migration. Speaking to the media NTR said, “I’m 28 and not old enough to talk about politics. I don’t even have the political experience to get involved in such matters. I’m an actor by profession. So I always think about my movies, my family, my directors and my producers. There were rumors that I encouraged Kodali Nani to switch over to YSR Congress from Telugu Desam Party because I did not become the party leader. I was annoyed when I hear from people that I was behind the story, screenplay and direction of Nani’s switch over episode. I’m no way involved in Nani’s decision to switch over to another party.”
Further speaking, “I agree that Nani is close to me. But saying that I was the main cause for his shifting to YSR Congress from Telugu Desam Party is unacceptable. I helped him to get the ticket in Telugu Desam Party only for the reason that he hails from my grandfather’s native place.”
He added, “I participated in the election campaign because of my love for Gudiwada and Nimmakuru. I’ve great respect for TDP party. There is no end for this party as long as Telugu region exists. My aim is to maintain Rama Rao garu’s name as much as we are talking about Gandhiji for generations. I’m ready to serve our Telugu Desam Party whenever the party needs me. I also want to clear once and for all that I’ve no differences with my family members. I’m newly wedded and am presently concentrating on my family and films only. I’m also making it very clear that all those associated with TDP party only will be my friends.”
