Brahmanandam's Felicitation on Teacher's Day

Padmasri Dr Brahmanandam was felicitated marking Teacher’s Day on September 5th, the day Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. The felicitation was done by Pyramid Young Masters Association (PYMA) and the students of Nagarjuna Degree College. President of Pyramid Spiritual Society Movement of India Brahmarshi Subhash Patriji, director cum producer Vijay Varma, MLC Rudraraju Padmaraju, R P Patnaik and others have attended this felicitation function. Some attractions of the felicitation function were the Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi dances.

Brahmarshi Subhash Patriji felicitated Padmasri Dr Brahmanandam with a shawl and a memento while Ravi Sashtri presented the felicitation certificate. Later addressing the gathering Brahmarshi Subhash Patriji lectured about the prominence of guru and expressed his happiness for felicitating Dr Brahmanandam.

Addressing the gathering Dr Brahmanandam said, “Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is a great philosopher and a great teacher. I’m very happy to be felicitated on the day that marks his birthday. I thank PYMA and Management of Nagarjuna Degree College on this occasion. I accepted this felicitation not as a comedy actor but because I was also a lecturer in my past. My profession as comedian is given to me by God. I will entertain the audience as long as I can.”

Rudraraju Padmaraju said, “We have not felicitated him today because he is a comedy actor. This felicitation is to remind everyone that Brahmanandam garu was a lecturer once upon a time. Very soon he is going to complete 1000 films. On this occasion I congralute him and wish to see him smiling forever and make everyone smile forever.”

R P Patnaik said, “I came to this function without any invitation. Laugh is a good relief especially for the one who is in a sorrow state. Brahmanandam garu is one person who has the skill of making any kind of person laugh. He has almost touched all heights in humor. It’s a great honour for all of us to felicitate him today marking teacher’s day. I wish to see him happy for life long with everyone’s blessings.”
