We all know that of late pre-release events have been in vogue. For Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katamarayudu’, the pre-release bash was a glitzy affair held on Saturday i.e. on March 18 at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasany, the film is being produced by Sharath Marar on North Star Entertainments banner. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead and the film is releasing on March 24.
Speaking at the pre-release function, Power Star Pawan Kalyan said, “I love my fans. Many of my fans were unable to attend the function. I myself asked not to hold a grand event because your safety is my priority. I apologize all those fans who couldn’t be here. I promise my fans that I will continue to work for the welfare of the people.”
The venue is reverberated with the chants of ‘CM…Pawan Kalyan’. Responding to the slogans, the actor said, “I am able to hear your chants. My aim is not to grab political power here.”
The actor reiterated, “To me, Chiranjeevi garu is always a hero. I didn’t expect that I will become a hero. ‘Suswagatham’ became a huge hit. The film ran successfully for many days and there was a huge rally in Kurnool. Large number of people have come for the rally. Tirupati Parasad advised me to wave my hand towards them as they might misunderstand me. Then I said him that actually I was frightened by seeing the people’s love on me and all I can do is offering them Namaskar in return. Dolly is a wonderful director. Working with him is a wonderful experience. It brought back to the mind my father’s words ‘Ee Srushto Lo Andaru Okkate’. We made the film with good intention. I am always ready to accept any type of result. Sharath Marar is my good friend. ‘Nenu Eppudu Mee Thammudine…Modatisari Ee Cinema Kosam Annayya Ayyanu’. Jai Hind!”
Addressing the gathering, Trivikram Srinivas said, “Kalyan garu once said to me that he doesn’t feel proud about the people who says someone will come to support us. I have seen Pawan Kalyan go out of his way to help others. I wish he will continue to work for the welfare of the people.”
On this occasion, director Kishore Prdhasani said, “I am thankful to crores of fans who are eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Katamarayudu’. During the time of ‘Gopala Gopala’, Pawan Kalyan garu promised me that he will do another film with me. He kept his word and worked with me for this film. I would like to do many more films with him. I am thankful to Pawan garu for trusting me and giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
