Multi-dimension Vasu released the audio CDs and presented the first copy to Uday Kiran’s wife Vishitha. Uday Kiran’s sister Sirdevi, brother-in-law and their children also attended the audio of his last film. With Dimple, Madalasa Sharma and Garima as heroines opposite Uday Kiran, ‘Chitram Cheppina Katha’ is directed by Mhan ALRK and produced by Uday’s ex-manager Munna under Flying Colors banner. Anita, who worked with Uday in films like ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ and ‘Sriram’ has played a key role in this film. Munna Kasi provided the music.
RP Patnaik, who attended the audio function recollected his association with hero Uday Kiran. In his words, “Uday Kiran is well known to me right from the film ‘Chitram’. Teja and I selected him for the film through an interview after observing his dedication and energy. After ‘Chitram’ became super hit, there was no turning back for him. He grew up as a hero with good image. Out of 14 films of Uday Kiran, I composed music for nine of them. I hope Munna Kasi composed good music for ‘Chitram Cheppina Katha’. It’s very sad to note that his film journey started with ‘Chitram’ and ended with ‘Chitram Cheppina Katha’.”
Multi-dimension Vasu said, “I couldn’t believe that Uday is no more between us. He has delivered several hits and earned huge number of fans. However, it’s very sad to note that his last film ‘Chitram Cheppina Katha’ was produced by none other than his manager by turning producer. I wish the audience will make the film a big hit and pay tributes to him.”
Uday Kiran’s wife Vishitha said, “Uday Kiran’s memories are still haunting me. Despite Uday being a hero in real life, I feel sad to say that this is his last film.”
Music director Munna Kasi said, “I had to put in lot of efforts to provide music for ‘Chitram Cheppina Katha’ because most of his earlier films were musical hits. So my intention was to live up to the standards of those films and I hope I’ve done a good job. I wish the audience will honor Uday Kiran by making the audio and the film a big hit.”
Producer Munna said, “I never thought that this would be Uday Kiran’s last film for which I turned from manager to producer. We were good friends. I feel due to the game played by the fate, he is no more between us. I hope the audience will make the film a big hit and pay tributes to him.”
Director Mohan said, ‘Working with Uday Kiran was an unforgettable experience. Cinema was his world. It’s very sad to note that Uday who remained in the heart of the people with good hits is no more between us.”
