Aakatayi Muhurat

New producers KR Vijay Karan, KR Koushal Karan and KR Anil Karan are jointly producing a youthful entertainer ‘Aakatayi’ under VKA Films banner with introducing new actor Ashish Raj as hero and Ruksar Meer as heroine. New director Ram Bheemana is making his debut as director through this film. The film was launched in a grand level at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on July 22 in the presence of close relatives. Prathap Arts head and senior producer Raghava graced the film launch event as chief guest. Prominent producer Pratani Ramakrishna Goud and Sai Venkat and the film unit members have attended the event. After performing formal Pooja, the muhurat shot was canned on hero Ashish Raj and heroine Ruksar Meer. RK Goud sounded the clap board, while producers Vijay, Koushal and Anil switched on the camera for the muhurat shot and Raghava has directed it. Later a press meet was held. Hero Ashish Raj, heroine Ruksar Meer, director Ram Bheemana, cameraman Venkat Gangadhari, producers KR Vijay Karan, KR Koushal Karan and KR Anil Karan were present at the press meet.

Speaking at the press meet, one of the producers of the film KR Koushal Karan said, “We, who are in the construction field, have established the production house VKA Films to deliver good films. We three were very impressed by the script narrated by the director Ram Bheemana and started ‘Aakatayi’ as our first project. Excellent artists and talented technicians are working for this film. Regular shooting will continue from today.”
Addressing the gathering, director Ram Bheemana shared, “I did DFT in direction department in London. I worked for few Hollywood films. I did some short films as well and also received international awards. With the intention to prove my talent in Telugu industry, I have readied this script with good story and screenplay. Producers were very impressed by the script and accepted to produce this film. Suman, Ramki, Brahmanandam, Indraja, Tanikella Bharani, Posani and some others are playing major roles. Melody Brahma Mani Sharama is providing wonderful tunes. Now, coming to the story, A Btech completed guy, who is always doing something mischievous, will come across some unexpected situations. The rest of the story is how he overcomes from that situations with his intelligence. Shooting will take place in Hyderabad for 10 days from July 22. Next schedule will take place in Vizag and Kerala. We will fly to foreign to shoot songs. The film will be competed in four schedules. Producers are supporting me a lot by roping in required artists and without compromising in any aspect.”

Hero Ashish Raj explained, “I learned acting at Rathna Sekhar Master. I worked as theater artist for 3 years. I worked for some ads in Bombay and also did some short films. Our producers called me and said, “We have a good script and you are doing the lead role.” I was very much impressed by the script narrated by Ram Bheeman. ‘Aakatayi’ is a brilliant script. My character is very challenging. I am extremely confident that I will prove my talent and earn good name as an actor through this film.”

Herine Ruksar Meer said, “I did 3 films in Kannada. ‘Aakatayi’ is my second film in Telugu. It’s a very interesting subject. I am very excited to start the shooting. I am playing a wonderful role. I am very happy to be working with senior actors.”

Suman, Ramki, Indraja, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Prudhvi, Posani Krishna Murali, Kadambari Kiran, Ajay Ghosh, Annapurnamma, Naveen Neni and Teja Kakumanu and some others are part of the cast.
