Kameena Success Meet

‘Kameena’, based on Johnny Gaddar’s Hindi movie opened to theaters recently. The film was directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna with Krish and Lekha Washington as lead pair. Varaprasad Reddy Arimanda produced the film under Kubera Cinemas banner with Vijaya Sarada Arimanda as its presenter. A success meet was organised today (September 18) by the film unit.

Roja said, “I have been thinking long to accept only good roles. So the script of this film has immensely impressed me that I instantly agreed to do. It’s a crime thriller. Going by its title, do not mistake it to be a film that’s not related to women. It’s an apt film for middle class mentality. I played the role of a beautician. Lakshmikanth carved the film excellently.”

Producer Varaprasad Reddy Arimanda said, “I never got involved in the making of this film, instead directly watched the preview. Movie was good. Audiences were glued to their seats in theatres. Graph is gradually increasing. It’s a family oriented movie but a different film altogether.”

Director Lakshmikanth Chenna said, “I said that our movie got great collections on the first day of its release. Now it’s slowly increasing. We did this film based on Jhonny Gaddar’s film. Audiences are coming to theaters without any expectations. We are very happy that the film is receiving good response from audience.”

Music director Agasthya said, “We are very happy to celebrate the success of this film. I am also happy for working with a director and producer who has got good taste in films. ‘Kameena’ is a good film visually as well as from technical point of view. There are several elements that would thrill the audience. The entire star cast along with Sai Kumar garu and Roja garu performed well.”

Hero Krishna and Jawahar Reddy also spoke and expressed their happiness.
