Pustakamlo Konni Pagelu Missing Press Meet

Blockbuster Studios’ ‘Pusthakamlo Konni Pagelu Missing’ starring Sri in lead role is directed by Sajid Kureshi and produced by Sohail Ansari. A press meet was held on Thursday (11th June) in Hyderabad to brief the film’s details.

Sri said, “The song ‘Ayyo Ramare…’ has become a big hit. Similarly ‘Band Baaja….’ Also became popular among the movie lovers. We are going to release the third song shortly. Our trailers received 10 lakh hits in youtube. There is a good response for the audio as well.”

Sajid Kureshi said, “Audio received good response. ‘Ayyo Rama….’ Song received 60 thousand hits. We are planning to release the song ‘Ra Ra…’ very soon which was sung by Deepu. The Tamil version ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkathine Kaanum’ even received a Vijay TV award. We are very confident that our film will also receive several awards. Sri gave an excellent performance. Love story is only a chapter in this film while the main film revolves around a group of friends who tolerate the memory loss of their friend. While I approached Parthiban for a negative role in my new script he agreed to do the film. However although I offered a positive role to Satyaraj, he suggested me someone else. In the meantime I watched the Tamil version ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatthine Kaanum’. Our producers wanted me to do the same in Telugu first before starting the new project. I did quite a lot of changes for the Telugu version after working for almost 3 months. Raghu Babu did a good comedy role. According to me one can’t learn direction. They have to keep their vision in an order to create a film. Before making my debut as director in Telugu I dubbed several south Indian films in Hindi. In the process I also learnt post production work. Right now re-recording work of the film is going on.”
