Sri Sri Audio Release

Audio launch of Superstar Krishna starrer ‘Sri Sri’ was held on February 18 in grand level at Shilpa Kala Vedhikain Hyderabad. Superstar Krishna’s son Superstar Mahesh Babu graced the event as Chief Guest and launched the trailer and big CD. Mahesh launched the audio CDs by presenting the first CD to Rebel Star Krishnam Raju.

Speaking at the function, Superstar Krishna said, “I would like to thank producers for felicitating me on the occasion of successfully completing 50 years as actor. I must thank two persons on this occasion, one is Adurti Subbarao garu, who introduced me to the film industry as hero through the film ‘Tene Manasulu’ and another one is Doondi garu, who brought me a mass image through the film ‘Gudachari116’. ‘Gudachari 116’ has given me the strength to complete 50 years successfully as an actor. I didn’t get the chance to do a good character since 6 to 7 years. I was very impressed by the Marathi film shown by Siva. Muppalaneni Siva has crafted this film 100 times more beautiful than Marathi film. I’m sure ‘Sri Sri’ will stand out as a milestone in my acting career. I’m very happy that I got the opportunity act in a wonderful film. I thank the director and producers for having given me this wonderful opportunity.”

On this occasion, Smt. Vijaya Niramala said, “Krishna garu and I are very happy to be part of this film. ‘Sri Sri’ is the 48th film in the combination Krishna garu and me. We will reach 50th film with just two films. Siva garu has crafted ‘Sri Sri’ more wonderfully than Marathi. I’m confident that the film will impress all sects of audience.”

Addressing the gathering, Krishnam Raju said, “I’m very happy to present the shield to Superstar Krishna. He is a nice human and aggressive person. He has proved our Telugu cinema potency by making ‘Alluri Seetharama Raju’. First Cow Boy film, first colour film, first scope film, it's all Krishna who did it. There is a good relationship between us. When I asked him that I wanted to adopt his younger daughter, he immediately agreed. We all are same family. I feel excited to meet Krishna whenever he comes to meet me. Vijaya Nirmala always stands by Krishna’s side to support him. I too going to complete 50 years of acting career within a couple of months. There is a saying that behind every man, there is a woman. Behind Krishna, that woman is Vijaya Nirmala. I wish Krishna will do many more film with enthusiasm. I wish Muppalaneni Siva will earn good name through this film. Krishna has given his support not only to producers but also to the industry.”

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who graced the event as chief guest, said, “Nearly 4 to 5months ago, I’ve seen the getup of my father in a newspaper. I was very excited. I’m one of the big fans of my father. Thanks to Siva garu. Trailer has increased the curiosity on film. Usually my father will be the chief guest for the functions of my films, but now I’ve attended his film’s function. It has given me immense happiness. I wish all the best to the director and producers. I wholeheartedly wish for the success of the film.”

On this occasion, Music director ES Murthy said, “I used to blow whistles when I watched Krishna garu’s films in my childhood. I used to fight for the tickets. I didn’t expect even in my dreams that I will get the chance to provide music for Krishna garu’s film. My friend Muppalaneni Siva has given me this opportunity. Krishna garu is our Superstar forever. He looks very handsome in this film. I have given musical score for Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala starrer ‘Sri Sri’ and it has given me immense happiness.”

One of the producers of the film, Chatla Saideep said, “Muppalaneni Siva is our family friend. When I’m planning to make a film on our banner, Siva approached me and narrated the script of ‘Sri Sri’. As we are waiting for such type of script, we immediately accepted to do this film. Krishna garu’s acting is excellent. Music came out wonderfully. I’m sure the film will impress youth and family audience.”

Successful director Muppalaneni Siva, who is known for making good family entertainers, said, “Every person, who reacts to the injustice, is Sri Sri. Producers have given lot of support. Krishna garu needs no special introduction. I’m extremely confident that the film will impress everyone.”

Naresh said, “I already said to Muppalaneni Siva that Superstar Krishna starrer ‘Sri Sri’ will become super hit. It’s a Marathi based film. Music came out wonderfully. The film carries a good message. It’s a pride that I played a key role in this film.”

Hero Sudheer Babu, director Kodandarami Reddy, producer BVSN Prasad, MAA President Dr Rajendra Prasad, actor Shivaji Raja, actor Edida Sriram and some others too spoke at the function and wished for the success of the film.

Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala have once again paired up for ‘Sri Sri’ directed by Muppalaneni Siva under SBS Productions banner. Senior director Muppalaneni Siva and producers Sai Deep Chatla, Y Balu Reddy and Shaik Siraj have arranged a grand function.

Superstar Krishna, Smt. Vijaya Nirmala, Naresh, Sai Kumar, Posani Krishna Murali, LB Sriram, totapalli Madhu, Devadas Kanakala, Murali Sharma, Knal Koushik, Smt. Anitha Chowdary and Sofia and some others have played major roles in the film, while Sudheer Babu will appear in a police officer role in the climax.
