Balakrishna-Boyapati Seenu Film Launch

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 98th film was launched on Monday, 10th June, 2013 on the eve of his birthday. This is the second film in the superhit combination of Balakrishna-Boyapati Sreenu after the blockbuster ‘Simha’. 14 Reels Entertainment banner is producing this new film which was launched on Monday at Ramakrishna Cine Studios. Sai Korrapati (Eega producer) will present this film on Varahi Chalana Chitra banner. Director B Gopal switched on the camera for the muhurat shot on Balakrishna which was directed by Boyapati Seenu. The grand event took place amidst hundreds of Nandamuri fans who thronged to participate in it marking Balakrishna’s birthday. Balakrishna cut a large cake and celebrated his birthday on the sets. Soon after that his brother Ramakrishna launched the website nandamuri.com.

In the press meet held Balakrishna said, “The much awaited film in my combination with Boyapati Sreenu began. While many are born for ambition some are born to curse. With hardwork and dedication we will do our best to bring out the best output. We require your blessings for that. My father is the only man who had grip on several departments like director and producer apart from being an actor. There is no role that he has missed to do. He has only made films for the social cause and never bothered about the returns from it. I’m confident that this movie will be better than ‘Simha’. Our producers are very excited to make this film as a full-fledged entertainer to the fans without compromising on anything as per the story demand.”

After launching his personal website, Balakrishna said, “All cannot become legends. One should have willpower, dedication and the strength of making people follow their path. My association with fans is such that they bless me without any expectations. My fans belong to all religions and castes which I feel very happy. I consider earning so many fans in this birth is the good deeds of my previous birth. I started this website called nandamuri.com for the fans to be under one umbrella. I want to bring awareness among the public in various places about the social programmes done by my fans and to boost their spirit and feel proud of themselves. Similarly this website should make us united to support and help the people of any region at the time of floods and droughts. So anyone can become a member in this website. We will provide identity cards. We have even launched committees and sub-committees. Those who are not the members cannot become official fans. My father used to always say that that if at all he has a rebirth, he should be born a Telugu and remain a Telugu man. Now I repeat the same.”

Director Boyapati Sreenu said, “Although the film went on to the sets on 3rd June, we did the opening shot today only for the sake of Balayya fans. I will carve this film in such a way that Balayya’s fans it would surprise Balayya’s fans. I assure that this film will definitely be a good film.”

According to B Gopal, this film will become a bigger hit than ‘Simha’ as passionate producers are making it. He claims that the film would get fans in festive mood.

Devisri Prasad is composing the music and C Ram Prasad handles the camera. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are the producers.
