Rebel Audio Release

The grand audio launch of Prabhas-Tamannah starrer ‘Rebel’ was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Friday, the 14th September. Krishnam Raju, Dil Raju, SS Rajamouli, Prabhas, Deeksha Seth, Lawrence, Bellamkonda Suresh, Brahmanandam, N V Prasad, Aali, Supreeth, J Pulla Rao, J Bhagawan, Chalapathi Rao, Ashok Kumar and others participated. Krishnam Raju released the first audio CD and presented it to SS Rajamouli. Aditya Music Company is going to release the CDs in the market on September 16th.

‘Rebel’ starring Prabhas, Tamannah and Deeksha Seth is a mass entertainer stylishly crafted by Raghava Lawrence on par the Hollywood’s technical standards. J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao are jointly producing it Sri Balaji Cine Media banner.

Later while addressing the gathering Krishnam Raju said, “When the film was given the title ‘Rebel’, Lawrence expressed his fear saying that I’ve given a very big responsibility of taking care of the Rebel family. However, even if Prabhas and I are Rebel stars on the silver screen, it Lawrence who is the real Rebel star behind the screen. I told the producers that the film would become a sensational hit on the first day of listening to the script. And I’m confident that it would surely become true. Even though Lawrence took his own time to complete the film he had done a tremendous job. I learnt about his great skills after watching ‘Kanchana’. Prabhas is climbing the ladder slowly right from his first film. He is sure to climb yet another step through Rajamouli’s film. Prabhas is very down-to-earth person, maintains his cool and and has the determination to try differently. He has surpassed me in acting long back. I’m very happy to note that the youth today are considering Prabhas as youth icon. ‘Rebel’ is sure to be a landmark film for producers also. Lawrence needs no introduction. The entire team worked very hard. I whole-heartedly offer my best wishes to all of them. I wish this film to celebrate the silver jubilee.”

SS Rajamouli said, “Lawrence portrayed Prabhas as a mass action hero. The fans are sure to get thrilled with Prabhas’s dances. I recently read in a paper that Prabhas is the youth icon of Hyderabad. I’ve never heard him talk negative about any hero, director or for that matter any person. I hope his fans will also follow his nature. I’m very happy to attend this audio function. I’m waiting as eagerly as you all for the release of this film. Tamannah and Deeksha Seth appear aptly suitable for Prabhas. This movie will feature all those elements which we are expecting from Prabhas. I wish the film to become a very big hit.”

Prabhas while speaking, “Hi Darlings!!! I thank all my fans who have come from every nook and corner to attend this audio function. I’ve been doing class films continuously, so I got bored of it. Hence my energy level got boosted with ‘Rebel’. I’m also a mass character. Lawrence choreographed dances for the songs in ‘Varsham’ and ‘Chatrapathi’. Now he is going to show me as a mass action hero in ‘Rebel’. Fight masters Ram-Lakshman had put in lot of efforts to choreograph new fights. Deeksha played a very important role in this film and would make the audience cry in few scenes. The reason for Tamannah to become a super star is that she is very dedicated towards her work. I’m grateful to my uncle for permitting his title ‘Rebel’ for this film which is the main highlight. I can’t reveal his role in this film now, but he rocked. Right from 16-60, every viewer will whistle while watching this film. Lawrence is an alrounder. He knows that hard work always pays. I wish this film to become a big hit for my kind hearted producers.” Prabhas entertained the audience by uttering a dialogue from ‘Rebel’, “Prati Vaadu Magaadu Anukovadaniki Adi Inti Peru Kaadu….By Birth Adi Blood lo Undali’. When the audience raised the question about his marriage he replied saying, “I’m still young and have enough time for marriage.”

Lawrence said, “Tebel is my 6th film as director. Krishnam Raju garu might have got the title ‘Rebel’ after almost 50 films. I’m grateful to him for giving such prestigious title to my film and handing over the responsibility. I’ve given my best to maintain that prestigious title and Prabhas is the only apt person to protect that title. He also values and respect friendship. The reason for the film’s delay was I did few changes in the script since Prabhas wanted to do a mass film. So it took some time for me to portray Prabhas as action hero on the screen. He was the one who suggested the title ‘Rebel’. Since it’s a great responsibility to deal with one such title, I took care in each and every bit of the film. This apart, we had dates problem with heroines. Initially we thought of considering Sarath Kumar for a pivotal role but later decided to do with Krishnam Raju garu since Prabhas felt that he is apt for it. So we took some time and did few changes in the characterization as per his body-language and image. The audience will see a new Krishnam Raju garu in this film. I’m aware of mass pulse because I’m also from that background only. I’m not feeling proud of it, but I can say that ‘Rebel’ will be as per the audiences’ taste and make the fans feel proud. I’ll not give a hit film. I’ll give only a super hit film. Prabhas’s kind nature made him to earn so much craze among the youth. I’m very happy to have worked with him. He has cooperated with me a lot and I thank my entire team on this occasion.”

Deeksha Seth said, “I’m very impressed with ‘Rebel’ music. Lawrence is the most talented person who did excellent job in music also. Prabhas performance rocks. Producers are very supportive. All of you enjoy the audio and the film too which is going to release shortly.”

One of the producers J Pulla Rao said, “The entire team did ‘Rebel’ with complete dedication. So I’m confident that the film will be a big hit. We will surely get back our money that we invested in this film. All big producers purchased the distribution rights. So one can predict the success range of this film. We are releasing the film on September 28th.”

N V Prasad who bought the Ceded distribution rights said, “I was very impressed with Raghava Lawrence’s services to the public when I approached him in his office. He is a very good human being. I whole-heartedly wish for the grand success of this film and offer my best wishes to Raghava Lawrence and Rebel fans.”

Dil Raju is going to release ‘Rebel’ movie in Nizam area. Speaking in the audio function he said, “Prabhas’s dances in ‘Rebel’ are going to be ‘The Best Dances’ in his career. The fans are sure to whistle and throw bits and pieces of paper on the silver screen for his dances in the film. All the credit will go to Lawrence for his choreography. After ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr Perfect’, Prabhas is now going to appear as ‘Rebel’. All three films have English titles, and he is sure to hit a hattrick with this film. Producers also made the film extraordinarily by maintaining high technical values. ‘Rebel’ is going to be the visual feast to the fans and audiences. Tamannah also rocked in ‘Google…’ song. I was flat after watching her performance in that song. Rajamouli is sure to take Prabhas to heights.”

Others like Bellamkonda Suresh, Brahmanandam, Aali and Ramajogayya Sastry and Chalapathy Rao also spoke in the audio function and wished for the success of audio and the film.
