Devaraya Audio Release

The audio of Srikanth’s ‘Devaraya’ was launched today at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan was the centre of attraction in this grand audio release function hosted by Suma. He released the audio CDs and presented the first CD to Ghanta Srinivas Rao. Other prominent guests in the audio function were Srikanth, heroines Meenakshi Dixit, Vidhisha, T Prasanna Kumar, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Sagar, Chakri, Shivaji Raja, Girish Reddy, Poorna, Madhav, Ravikumar Chavali, Prabhu, KVV Satyanarayana, Sammetta Gandhi, Kothapalli Subba Rayudu, etc.

After the release of audio CDs Pawan Kalyan addressed the gathering and said, “I like Srikanth a lot. He is one among us and we consider him as yet another younger brother for Annayya. Devaraya is a very good character for Srikanth. I wish this film to bring him good success. I offer my best wishes to director, producers, music director Chakri, other artists and technicians in the film.”

Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “Srikanth has earned 50% success with the arrival of Pawan Kalyan to this audio function. I wish ‘Devaraya’ will be a big hit not only to Srikanth but also the film will stand as one among good films in Telugu cinema.”

T Prasanna Kumar said, “Srikanth is friendly with everyone without showing any differences between caste, creed, rich and the poor. He is also willing to work with any kind of producer, big or small. Pawan Kalyan’s presence in this audio function indicates the success of this film. Pawan Kalyan released ‘Ishq’ audio and the film became a grand success along with its audio. Now this film will also become a big hit on par with that movie.”

State Minister Ghanta Srinivas Rao said, “I wish Srikanth and the new director and producers a grand success through this film.”

Sagar said, “I find no change in Srikanth right from the time he entered the film industry which is the main reason for his success. Chakri’s music needs no introduction. Any film with his music will become a super hit.”

Srikanth while speaking, “My presence is required in any function held in Chiranjeevi annayya’s house. However Pawan Kalyan is likes to be away from all kinds of hungama. While I was shooting for ‘Devaraya’ at RFC, Pawan Kalyan’s CGR shooting was also taking place at the same location. So I took the opportunity to invite Pawan Kalyan to this audio function but I was a little doubtful about his accepting my invitation. I’m very happy that he accepted my invitation and coming to this function and making it a grand success.”

Speaking about the film he said, “After listening to 3-4 stories from Nani, I proceeded with this script since I was impressed with my character in this film. I’m playing a dual role as Devaraya and Dorababu in this film. The output is fantastic. Sri Krishna Devaraya is a little emotional character. On the other hand, Dorababu character is quite contrast with full of entertainment. The audience will have to watch the film to see the difference between the two characters. I did this film with great passion. Veerababu penned interesting dialogues and Poorna’s camera work is appreciable. I’m very confident that ‘Devaraya’ will earn me and my entire team a great accolades.”

Music director Chakri said, “I’m very happy that our audio was launched through Pawan Kalyan. On behalf of our entire team I thank him for coming to this function and releasing our audio. Srikanth’s performance in the role of Sri Krishna Devaraya is excellent. He is the aptly suitable hero for this role. Re-recording has come out very well. I hope the audience will watch the film and bless us with kind heart.”

Producer Kiran said, “Devaraya is a socio-fantasy film which we are sure of winning the audience hearts. Chakri’s music is superb and I’m confident that the movie will earn all of us a very good name.”

Director Nani Krishna said, “We were able to craft the movie extra-ordinarily with the support lent by Srikanth.

Heroines Meenakshi Dixit and Vidhisha also expressed their happiness and wished for the success of audio and the film.
